I Still Want One Of These....
One of these, as in a beautiful, sweet, precious, innocent little baby waiting to be adopted. It is what it is... They are gorgeous little babies from china so I assume they are china babies! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this is mine. If you don't like it, don't read it. I think these china babies are the sweetest, prettiest little babies ever and hopefully one day I will get mine. I may have to wait a little longer but I know she is out there. 1.29.2009
Happy Birthday Jelly Bear!
Today is Jayley's 12th birthday! She came into this world just a
tiny little thing weighing only 4 lb. 4 oz.
I had waited *FOREVER* for a baby niece and she was finally here! When we went to see her I remember my mom saying her legs looked like she had baggy nylons on. And they did!
During the summer I would babysit Jayley every day! When school started up agian I would pick her up from the babysitters and watch her untill her dad got home. It was sooo fun to play dress up with her! Everywhere me and Tanisha went, Jayley went right along too! We taught that kid how to properly drag main, drink diet coke and chase COWBOYS! There were some people in town who didn't know me very well and thought she was my baby. If they saw me without her they would ask where my baby was. And I loved it! I have always claimed her as my own kid and always will.
So..... I hope you have the best birthday ever Jelly Bear! Me and Bloss love you tons!

Happy Birthday Janet!
Today is Janet's 24th Birthday! She is off is HAWAII playing (and hopefully making a baby LUCY!) My mom is going to be SOOO mad at me for posting that! Oh well... I really hope she is. (: We may not always get along, and she drives me crazy most of the time but I do love her and I'm glad she's my sister. (Yes mom, you did read that right.) Anyways, I have lots of fun memories of Janet and here are 24 of them.
1. She looked like an Indian baby
2. She came home from the hospital in a Christmas stocking
3. Mom threw her away in the garbage can (only once!)
4. She fell out of dad's pickup when they went around the corner
5. She made anything out of cardboard and spray paint
6. She has "horny toad" hands
7. She had her own playhouse with a stove, running water, TV and a lock to keep me out!
8. The time she tried to dye her hair blonde (Big mistake!)
9. She "Welcomed" out new neighbors with dead cookies out of the cupboard
10. Our first "drinking" experience (See picture below)
11. The time we test drove a car and went and chased guys in it instead!
12. Getting pulled over in Santaquin for "backing up" the freeway entrance (It really was her fault)
13. Getting ready to walk down the isle and not having her bouquet made
14. Buying her veil 4 hours before the wedding
15. Going to the singles ward with me (she was in high school) because there was a cute guy there I wanted to meet
16. Trying every prom dress in St. George on, buying one and then wearing the same one from last year
17. She didn't have to go to seminary
18. Chasing cute cowboys and then meeting their son at a party a few weeks later. Oops....
19. Showing up on my doorstep after her first "real" fight as a married gal
20. She got pooped on by a bird in Hawaii
21. She pierced her own belly button and told mom a "spider bit her there".
22. She is Dad's favorite
23. The time she put my "rotten" potatoes in the oven to contain the smell
24. Playing in the cars out back for hours
Hope you and Kelly are having tons of fun in Hawaii. Have a super, duper 24th birthday!

Halloween 2008
Better late then never! These are my cute little neighbor kids and Blossom. We never did get one with everyone and the dog looking at the camera. Oh well. The lamb was my favorite.
Blossie was all dressed up and waiting for the trick or treaters to come!
After the candy was gone we turned the lights out and went to The Pizza Factory for dinner. One of the waitresses there was dressed up as a chicken with huge, floppy rubber feet!

Happy 38th Anniversary Mom & Dad!
Today is my Mom & Dad's 38th Wedding Anniversary. It all started back in July of 1970. They met in July, were engaged in September, and married in November. (That's how normal couples do it.... Nick!)
These are two of my favorite pictures.

I like hearing the stories about when they were dating and first married. All their trailer stories with the frogs and mice are great!
I never really knew just how much my parents loved each other, especially my dad until this past year and a half. All along I thought they just "tolerated" each other. I don't say that in a mean or rude way, they just seemed to go about life, raising kids, working, and just being "Mom and Dad". Seeing my dad at the hospital with my mom made me realize just how much they do care about each other. Most of you have heard about my mom's "experience" at the hospital, 2 surgery's ago. Well, as soon as she came to, they rushed her up to the ICU floor and none of us had a chance to see or talk to her. We saw her from the hallway with about 30 people in front of us. I knew they wouldn't let any of us go with her so me and my sisters didn't try going. We were still pretty much in shock. When they were about to the end of the hall with her my dad took off running after her. I told him they wouldn't let him go but went anyways. Him running down the hall after her was one of the saddest things I have ever seen.
Anyone who knows my dad knows that he does not show emotion AT. ALL.
One of the few good things to come from all this crappy cancer stuff is I know that they are happy and they do indeed love and care about each other!
Enough of that...
Here they are 30 some odd years later.
Here they are 30 some odd years later. I hope you guys have many, many more too come!
I love you Mom & Dad.

Here is the cake I made Ashy. I copied Nancy because Luke's cake was sooo cute! This is the "girl" version minus the legs. She is laying on them so you can't see them silly! ;) Anyways, she liked the cake Blossie made for her! I still haven't master the whole picture thing and I don't know how to get rid of the big white border.... Does anyone know how??? How does everyone else make their picture collages??11.07.2008
Happy Birthday Ashy Bug!
It's *F*I*N*A*L*L*Y* Ashy's birthday! For the past 2 or 3 month's she has been telling everyone, "It's my birthday tomorrow and you can't come to my party". Sometimes your invited and sometimes not! Actually that changes on a daily basis, sometimes hourly! As of yesterday me and my mom were not invited because "we are sooo mean!" Ashlynn (a.k.a. Ashy Bug) is a funny, spunky and determined little girl. She has a mind of her own and has quite the attitude at times. She gets that from her mom. ;) You never know what will come out of her mouth. I love it when she calls me "Mommy Mon-Mon" and grins all over! I wish I could spend more time with her and my other niece and nephew. Kee, it would be nice if you would move closer. I have a basement just waiting for you and YES, you can bring the chickens!Happy 4th Birthday Ashy Bug!

Are you a TIGHT A$$??
So, I was recently informed by a good friend of mine that I'm a "tight A$$". The whole coupon thing is kind of interesting to me. Most people think it is "cool" to get free or dirt cheap stuff but apparently I should be embarrassed. Most cashiers even comment how "awesome coupons are" and most ask where I get them. My sister even had a cashier ask her if she was in a "coupon club". How funny is that! I have been thinking about this for the last couple of days and it really bugs me. I did not ask their opinion, ask THEM to use a coupon or even heaven forbid, use a coupon while in their presence. I don't feel that I should be embarrassed after all, isn't that why manufacturers send out coupons?? I do end up with more items then I could possibly ever use but that is why I share with my family, friends, neighbors and even my boss. When I get a big enough stock pile I plan to donate most to my local women's shelter. So I am curious about your opinion. Do you use coupons, are you embarrassed to use coupons, should I be embarrassed, are coupons only for the "tight ass" people of the world? Anyways, this is my rant for the day so I will end it here while I go gather up this weeks coupons! ;)9.10.2008
How common is YOUR name??
I found this on a friend's site and it was fun to see how many people I share the same name with. I was actually a little suprised at how few there were.

Tragedy in southern Utah

Tragedy in southern Utah, as a community mourns the loss of 10 people killed in a plane crash. The plane went down last night near Moab and was engulfed in flames when emergency crews arrived. No one on board survived. All the victims are from Cedar City.We know all of them worked for the Southwest Skin and Cancer/Red Canyon Aesthetics & Medical Spa, a medical group that provides cancer screenings and also dermatological services for the people who are in rural Southern Utah.
This group was led by Dr. Lansing Ellsworth. They wrapped up a day-long clinic there yesterday and were heading home to Cedar City, but moments after takeoff, the plane crashed. "This is a loss that affects really all of Southern Utah."
The plane was a twin-engine Beech King Air A-100. It was owned by the Leavitt Group out of Cedar City. David White was the pilot. It's unclear what problems he was having before the crash, or why the plane went down. Leavitt said, "He has flown that particular route often, as they went to Moab regularly. He flew that route for them."
Crews on Saturday sifted through the wreckage on a small rise about two miles from the runway. Bodies were placed in body bags and carted away. National Transportation Safety Board investigator Tealeye Cornejo said she didn't believe anyone could have survived the crash.
Investigators will try to determine if the plane caught fire before or after it hit the ground. The investigation will be made more difficult because much of the plane burned. "The fire was so intense, there's not a lot of it left," she said.
Grand County Sheriff James Nyland identified those killed as pilot David White; the company's director, Dr. Lansing Ellsworth, 50, and his son Dallin Ellsworth, 23; David B. Goddard, PA-C,60, and his daughter Cecilee Goddard, 31; Mandy Johnson; Marcie Tillery, 29; Valerie Imlay, 52; Keith Shumway, 26; and Camie Vigil, 25.
This news is so sad to me. When I worked at the hospital in Cedar, my office was right across the hall from Dr. Ellsworth. Although I only knew 3 of the 10 people killed in the crash, it still breaks my heart. I am very thankful I'm not working at the hospital during this tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with their families, friends, staff and patients.

Hello Fall!
As soon as I spotted these pumpkins I was soooo excited! So excited in fact I had to call my sister and tell her. Both my sisters love spring and I absolutely HATE it, so I just had to let them know that fall is officially on the way! I love, love, love fall time! When I went in Robert's all the isles were filled with leaves and pumpkins. I had a funny feeling in my stomach I was so excited! So hello fall, goodbye nasty summer! :)
