There is a big flashing arrow above the "Ditto" sign pointing to the house next door.

I thought this house was so funny! It is a brother and sister that live in these two houses. The house with all the lights is tuned to blink with the radio so it was hard to get a picture with all the lights on. It was pretty cute and causing quite the traffic jamb. These were pretty too!

My Birthday!

Ashy made me this birthday cake all by herself! She was so excited for me to see it.
She used all sorts of sprinkles and candy and it was super good!

Pillowcase Dresses

Have you guys ever seen pillowcase dresses? They are so cute! I made this one for Ashlynn just in time for summer to be over. But, they look super cute with a shirt underneath too.
If you have a little girl you should make her one! They are really easy to make, just google "pillowcase dress" and you will find lots of cute ideas.

And, it's scooter approved!

Happy 39th Anniversary !

Happy 39th Anniversary Mom & Dad!  I hope you guys have many more.  I guess I better get started now on their 40th present.  She has been reminding me for the last 2 or 3 years, in fact today she reminded me that I'm down to 365 days. Gosh, It's not like I procrastinate or anything!  I guess nobody knows you better than your own mother.

Conversations

Conversations with a 5 year old.

A:   Mon-Mon, guess what?

M:  What Ashy Bug?

A:  Today is BROWN day at preschool!

M:  Oh ya! Are you supposed to wear something brown?

A:  Yep!

M:  What are you wearing?

A:  Fresh underwear!

M:  Really?!?!

A:  Yep, my mom says I have to wear fresh underwear everyday.

M:  That is true. So what are you wearing to school for BROWN day?

A:  Just a shirt.

Apparently the shirt was not as exciting as the fresh underwear. You gotta love kids, they keep you laughing!

Wrinkles?

Where do wrinkly eggs comes from? Wrinkled bums?!?!These are from my sisters chickens. No, not the chicken pictured above although that is hers also. I think it's the weirdest thing ever. Kee, you better go check out their furry little behinds just to make sure.

Parowan Ducks

There is a cute little pond in Parowan that has a bunch of ducks.  As soon as you stop your car they come running over to attack greet you.  Most of them are small, cute little innocent ducks but there are a few geese that are scary.  Like this fella.

He was freaky!  He would open his mouth and make a hissing sound.  I didn't like him but he was pushy and had to be the center of attention.  We would throw bread to them and everyone but him would go for the bread.  Then he would turn and bite an innocent bystander duck in the belly.  After doing this several times I started picking on him!  It was funny until Blossie decided she was going in for the kill.

Good thing there was a door to intercept.  If your in Parowan you have to go visit the ducks cause they are funny!

But, don't forget the bread!

Parowan Makes The News!

Cut gas line prompts evacuation of Parowan schools

PAROWAN, Utah (AP) -- Authorities say several students needed oxygen for nausea and headaches after a city worker cut through a gas line near schools in Parowan.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports on its website about 800 students and staff were evacuated Thursday from Parowan Elementary School and Parowan High School.
Iron County sheriff's office spokesman Aaron Pallesen says a worker hit a gas line and pressurized gas could be heard escaping from the broken line.
The students waited at the high school football field while officials shut off the gas.
Most students returned to school after a couple of hours

Ashlynn Turns 5 Years Old!

Happy Birthday!Ashy turned 5 this year! We made her a "Blossie" cake. Next to me, Ashy loves the little furball the most! I keep trying to convince her big, mean, bully of a mother to let her have a dog but she won't let her. I guess you better come and live with me Ashy!We gave her a Cinderella doll and she loved it! Happy Birthday Ashy Bug, we love you lots!

Halloween

We went to P-town for Halloween this year but my neighbor kids wanted to trick-or-treat at Blossie's house so they came a day early! They got 2 treats, one from me and one from Bloss. After they went home my neighbor sent me a text that said, "Parker says you are the nicest neighbor on earth!" I thought it was pretty cute. Bribery is not such a bad thing when it comes to kids, just ask Ashy who her favorite Aunt is!

My neighborhood goes all out for Halloween and their are lights everywhere. This tree was my favorite. If you look close you can see it has arms!

This security guard was hot!And this was just because I missed Jack! It's been 1 year this month since Jack and I have to say, that man knew how to kiss..... I have tons more pictures from this trip but I will have to post those another day when I have more time.

Out Of Room?

What do you do when your short on gardening space?
Move to the rooftop of course! I was driving by and it caught my eye so I had to go back and take a picture. Does anyone know what this is?? The green pokey things are about the size of a apple or peach. I don't have a clue what they are.
